love it that this doc was slightly more about the people vs just about the animal 100% on the mom's side from what you said glad it was cute and average at aleast!

Diana is my favourite actress since 48 years and I must always laugh when I watch this movie. In the beginning of this movie she must cry when she saw a little animal in the kitchen but at first she forgot it but she loves animals and isn't angry for any animals.

Prom is definitely a funny movie! I watched it with Shaelyn and her cousin Kylie once and all of us ended up on the floor laughing!

I discovered this one on UA-cam last year. It's really good. There are so many great Wonderful World Of Disney films on here. Atta Girl, Kelly is another gem. I wish Disney would digitally remaster all of them and play them on Disney Plus.

Great VFX and SFX, blended so well, so bravo to that team. I too like Paxton and Theron’s chemistry. But I was so bored watching this overall.

A good second effort by PIXAR, but on the level of Toy Story or Toy Story 2 for sure. I and my kids do not return to this one very much at all. The Ant and the Grasshopper is quite a well-known Aesop fable. Dreamworks’ ANTZ came was a much worse movie. Dreamworks loaded that one with so many celebrities that it was distracting. Here there are known voices, but not distracting nearly as much. I only found Denis Leary and David Hyde Pierce distracting.

One of the best remakes Disney has ever released. Lindsey Lohan is so great in this, and in many movies afterwards that I am waiting patiently for her resurgence. And this soundtrack is so good I bought the CD that summer after seeing this. Such a great movie that honors the classic original.

As usual great job! I plan on catching up with all of these nature documentaries someday. I personally can’t wait till we get to elephant b/c Meghan the duchess of Sussex narrated that one. I love her and Prince Harry a lot. I’ll add this one to the list for mom and Shaelyn to.

When my daughter was going through her Disney princess phase when she was little this was one movie I refused to let her see. We didn’t read about it in the Disney princess storybook we had, she only watched the songs that were on the princess sing-along DVD. The reason I did that was just not because of the darker tone of the second half (as you noted in the video here there are no songs in the second half as it’s a war movie) but more because the first part of the movie with the songs “Bring honor to us all” and “I’ll make a man out of you” talk about and play on gender roles of the time that we knew she could not differentiate, or understand the thematic reasons they’re in the movie at such a young impressionable age. We did not want her to think that the women’s role is XYZ, and you have to be a man to be in war and fight, and that “man up” is an acceptable phrase. That was our choice as parents.

I loved this movie so much as a kid and I barely remembered it at all, watched it as an adult. MY GOD what was wrong with me when I was a kid why did I want everything to be so horribly sad all the time?!

An argument can be made for how absolutely problematic it was for white actors to portray Chinese people. But saying that white people can't run a Japanese restaurant or fix Japanese food? That's ridiculous! Are you going to tell Japanese people they can't fix cheeseburgers or make tacos? I would hope not. Yet what you're saying isn't any less absolutely absurd.

I’ve just started watching you recently. And haven’t gone back to watch many of the older ones but today was kind of fun to hear you be very critical which I hadn’t really heard before although I’m sure you have plenty. You clearly are a massive Disney fan, but it doesn’t mean you’re a sick of it, that thinks everything they did was wonderful. It would be interesting to know the ratio of good medium and bad reviews you’ve given you are a good reviewer/critic.

Finally back to movies I know. Me Shaelyn used to watch this movie a lot as young girls. Number 1 was still our favorite though.

We happened onto this movie back in the 90's and couldnt stop laughing! An all-time favorite for sure. I can still hear my dad howling throughout the movie but mostly when the dames busted the bank!

This little movie is EVERYTHING I loved about watching "The Wonderful World of Disney," when I was a kid! I LOVED THIS! It kind of reminds me of "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey," but with only one little dog, an adorable CORGI! 🦊❤

Hey Jess, just a suggestion and maybe you’ve already done this but maybe instead of watching a movie one week or skipping two movies you could do the top 10 or top 20 favorite Disney movies “so far” I would love to know what your favorites are Or you could even do top 10 or 20 of lesser known or non-blockbuster Disney movies I can see myself gathering people around saying these are the favorite movies of Jess has watched almost every single Disney movie out there
